The Slater Museum awakens visitors to the richness and diversity of the human experience through art and history. The Museum displays and interprets the best examples of fine and decorative art, representing a broad range of world cultures of the Americas, Asia, Europe and Africa.

A not-for-profit organization dedicated to educating, empowering, and creating opportunities for individuals with behavioral health & substance abuse diseases. We support achievement of client centered, wellness focused services including: Clinical, Employment, Social Rehab, Residential, Community, Behavioral Health Homes, and Additional Partnering Programs.

Our Mission
SECCO connects and supports volunteer musicians, inspiring them to share their joy of music through the practice and performance of symphonic literature in community spaces.

seCTer is the full-service regional Economic Development Agency for the southeastern Connecticut Economic Development District, including eighteen municipalities in New London County and the Town of Windham. seCTer offers a variety of services and resources to stimulate and support economic development within the region.

Southeastern Connecticut Television, (SEC-TV) is a 3000 square foot, non-profit media center in Groton, CT with a 30 x 30 television studio, iMac edit stations, green screen, portable HD cameras and audio equipment available for rental.

Southeastern Connecticut Women's Network meets on the third Wednesday of every month for luncheon. The Network provides its members and guests with an opportunity to meet business and professional people in the community to exchange general and career information.

The Sprague Historical Society consists of residents dedicated to preserving Sprague Town history. The Sprague Historical Museum is located on the third floor of the historic 155-year old Grist Mill. The Museum welcomes everyone stop by and spend time perusing the displays, pictures, and books.

St.Jude Common is a non-profit housing facility for senior citizens. It employs one individual who is responsible for recreational programming. This individual works with local crafts people, artists and musicians to provide cultural opportunities and programming for its residents.

The Stonington Community Center (COMO) campus includes the main building, athletic fields, racquet facilities, a children's garden, playground, pond, duBois beach, Sandy Point beach, MakerSpace, pottery studio, and Thrift shop. It provides community events, youth/adult programming, award-winning childcare and community meeting space.

The Stonington Free Library's mission is — to enrich lives and build community by bringing information, ideas and people together.
