Chelsea Groton Foundation, Inc. was formed in 1998 as a Section 501(c) (3) organization. The Foundation has awarded over $2.3 million in grants to hundreds of scientific, educational and charitable organizations located within the Bank’s Connecticut and Rhode Island market area.

Since 1983, The Chelsea Players has presented over 70 plays and concerts in Norwich. We prefer plays accessible yet non-mainstream, including work by local playwrights. We welcome members interested in community theater and the arts.


Child & Family Agency of Southeastern Connecticut, Inc.

CFA is a nonprofit agency providing childcare, and physical and mental health services for children in school, office and home based settings. Providers weave the creative arts into their work as educators and health providers to support children and families creating happy, productive lives.

Our Mission is to promote the well-being and development of all children and their families, in particular to give priority to the unmet needs of children lacking physical, emotional and intellectual care and nurturing.
