National Endowment for the Arts (NEA)– Art Works To support the creation of art that meets the highest standards of excellence, public engagement with diverse and excellent art, lifelong learning in the arts, and the strengthening of communities through the arts. Matching grants generally range from $10,000 to $100,000.
Challenge America-To support projects that extend the reach of the arts to underserved populations. Matching grants are for $10,000.
Our Town– Organizations may apply for creative placemaking projects that contribute to the livability of communities and place the arts at their core. Our Town offers support for projects in two areas:

  • Arts Engagement, Cultural Planning, and Design Projects that represent the distinct character and quality of their communities. Matching grants range from $25,000 to $200,000.
  • Projects that Build Knowledge About Creative Placemaking. Matching grants range from $25,000 to $100,000.

“Imagine Your Parks” Grant (NEA)– Through the Art Works category, we encourage projects that engage communities with and relate the arts to these memorable places and the landscapes they preserve. We also invite a new generation of Americans to find their park. Projects might include the commissioning and presentation of new work in or near one of these locations, or festivals in these settings. For more information, click here.

Executive Director, Mystic Arts Center, Mystic, Connecticut, is seeking a dynamic and innovative individual to act as Executive Director. Mystic Arts Center (MAC) is a 100+ year non-profit arts organization in downtown Mystic whose mission is to foster the creation, appreciation and enjoyment of the arts for the broad public. In order to fulfill our mission we operate and maintain 4,000 feet of gallery space for exhibitions and 3,000 feet of studio space for our education programs.
