“Early Bird” Call for Your Events- Conn College GO! Program Fall Semester

In partnership with the Connecticut College’s Office of Student Engagement, the Southeastern CT Cultural Coalition invites our partners to submit events or activities to be considered, reviewed, and evaluated by students for inclusion in Connecticut College’s Get Out! -or GO! – program during the Fall semester.

“Early Bird”  planners – Submit by May 12, 2016 – see criteria and submission link below.

Planned and funded by the Student Activities Council and the Office of Student Engagement, Go! events include transportation and free or discounted tickets to concerts, movies, plays and sporting events. Connecticut College’s GO! Events program features 3 or 4 off-campus events a semester. GO events provide transportation for up to 50 students (single bus capacity) to each event.

By submitting your event through the Cultural Coalition, you will receive student feedback on your submission, which may be helpful in future planning, programming and marketing to student audiences.

Events that are highly rated by students will be recommended to the Office of Student Engagement for possible inclusion in the Connecticut College “GO! Events”calendar.

Student review will be led by the Cultural Coalition’s intern, a Connecticut College student and overseen by the Coalition and the College’s Office of Student Engagement.

Event Criteria:
1) Event/Activity must be located within 30 minute drive of Connecticut College
2) Event/Activity must take place between Sept. 1 – Dec. 11, 2016
3) Event/Activity must take place on a Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday
4) Event/Activity cost range: Free to maximum $25 per student

We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to engage with Connecticut College students. In addition to student feedback on your event, the Coalition will provide aggregated student feedback in the future.

Thank you!!!
