Welcome to the Southeastern Connecticut Cultural Coalition, CultureSECT!

These first three months have been incredibly exciting for me. In addition to helping build the necessary infrastructure of the organization, I have been meeting with many fantastic people and organizations that are doing tremendous work  throughout the region. I’ve also been learning about great programs, projects and plans, and continue to hear about challenges facing our region. Now that we have our organization structure in place, the Coalition is anxious to begin making a difference.

So, what will we do, and what’s in it for you? Well, to put it simply, we are here to connect, strengthen and advocate for the cultural community. We are here to work for you.

One of our first steps is to build awareness of and connect those working in the sector in southeastern CT. Find out more about becoming a Partner on our Partners page. In the future, we will host stakeholders’ forums, facilitate collaborations, provide capacity building tools and deliver coordinated marketing efforts for the region.

This website in the early phase of development. It will become your source for information about partners, regional initiatives, opportunities, grants, jobs, internships, etc. We’ll provide a clearinghouse of information and make it easy for you connect with culture in the region.
