The Stonington Historical Society was founded in 1895 and operates three historic museums/libraries: Old Lighthouse Museum (1840), Captain Nathaniel B. Palmer House (1851), and the Woolworth Library & Research Center. Our mission is to preserve, interpret, and celebrate the history of all of Stonington. Historic Stonington is dedicated to illuminating the more than 350 years of history of the Town of Stonington, located in the southeastern corner of Connecticut. We offer records of the lives and fortunes of colonial settlers, blockade runners, ship captains, whale hunters, patriots, explorers, artists, and writers.

ISAAC is an independent, non-profit, public charter school located in New London, Connecticut since 1997. ISAAC serves 270 middle school students from 13 towns throughout Southeastern Connecticut. ISAAC inspires students through the arts, communication and exploration to be courageous citizens who are difference makers.

A modern museum with rotating exhibits, genealogy research library and public programs. Children-friendly exhibit about Lebanon in the American Revolution. Beaumont House and Pastor’s Library are located on our campus are opened seasonally for guided tours on most Saturdays.
