ABOUT PERFORMING ARTS InterSECT: Southeastern Connecticut is home to a robust and diverse performing arts sector dedicated to the creation, production and presentation of dance, music, theatre, spoken word, puppetry, opera and more.

Together, SECT’s performing arts organizations provide hundreds of public programs annually, serve more than 100,000 people annually, and help drive the regional economy.

From small, local musical groups enriching our communities, to large organizations with national and international audiences, our region’s acclaimed performing arts providers are dedicated to innovation, creativity, entertainment, training and education.

The March 19 event strives to be inclusive of all audiences. Slater Auditorium is handicap accessible. Event programs and brochures are available in braille. Organizers will make every attempt to provide a volunteer for visually impaired guests to serve as a visual translator and descriptive guide. Earplugs will be provided for attendees with sensory issues, such as autism. Requests for visual guides and braille materials should be received by March 7th by calling (860) 448-5135 or emailing info@culturesect.org

The Southeastern CT Performing Arts Organizations Initiative, called Performing Arts InterSECT, is a collective marketing opportunity for performing arts organizations in our region.
